Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro Soc. Agr. Coop.’s Privacy Policy for customers and suppliers pursuant to article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679


This privacy policy has been prepared and issued pursuant to article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679 (also referred to as the “European Regulation”), which has introduced significant changes in legislation. This policy therefore updates and replaces any previous versions issued to date. This being said, please note:

1) as we have established a business relationship with you and over the course of such relationship, our company will collect and process your personal data;
2) for the purposes of clarity, we will use the following definitions given by the European Regulation:

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

Processing: any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
This being said, pursuant to article 13 of European Regulation 2016/679, we inform you  that the undersigned company will collect and process your personal data in accordance with the following:

a) purposes: the data will be processed to correctly meet accounting, tax, commercial and technical requirements and for all general company activities in connection with the relationship with you;

b) advertising purposes: the data may also be used, with your specific and explicit prior consent, to send material/advertisements via post, e-mail, telephone, fax, text message and similar; in any case, after having given your consent, you have the right to object, at any time and at no expense, to the processing of your data for these purposes;

c) methods: the data will be processed using both hard copy and electronic/IT/digital tools/supports in complete compliance with the rules of law and in accordance with the principles of lawfulness and integrity and in a way that protects your privacy;

d) optional consent: the provision of data is optional and not mandatory;

e) consequences of non-consent: should you refuse to provide your data or object to all processing, it may be impossible to pursue any business or any other kind of relationship with our company. However, non-consent to the use of data to send material/advertisements will not have any consequences for current or future relationships;

f) recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data: the data could be disclosed to third parties solely to meet legal or contractual obligations. In no case shall the data be disseminated;

g) people authorized to process the data: the data shall be processed exclusively by the company’s administrative and commercial personnel specifically authorized for this purpose;

h) automated decision-making processes (e.g., profiling): in no way are decision-making processes automated;

i) rights of the data subject: you have all the rights established by the European Regulation, such as the right to request access to your personal data, have the data rectified and erased, restrict processing, object to processing and request data portability. You also have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority;

j) transfers to third parties: any transfers of personal data to third parties outside the European Union or to an international organization shall be based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or, in the event of transfers under articles 46, 47 or 49.2 of the European regulation, based on the appropriate safeguards.

k) data retention period: the data will be retained for the period of time strictly necessary to meet the data subject’s requests or in accordance with current regulations or any contractual clauses;
