The Italian tomato at Foodex Japan 2018

From 6th to 9th March 2018 Pomì will participate at the most important agro industrial exhibition in Japan.

Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro goes on with the 2018 exhibition program and it will be at Foodex in Tokyo from 6th to 9th March with Pomì products (Pavillon 8 booth b34). The fair is recognized as the most important agro-industrial exhibition in Japan as well as an event with a great commercial impact and the main way to diffuse and promote the agro industrial sector for the whole Asia-Pacific region. Last edition recorded more than 82.000 visitors and about 3.400 exhibitors.

The event in its 43° edition represents a crucial meeting for the companies already present on Japanese market but also for the ones, which are going to enter it.

Pomì, which is already on the Japanese Market, during the exhibition, will present the organic range: chopped tomatoes and tomato puree in 750g combi brick and in 500gr glass bottle.

The Japanese organic production is growing year after year indeed. According to a research conducted by Japan Management Association, the most important chains are opening specialty shops to promote organic production. This growth is due to the increasing awareness of Asian consumers towards health and consumption of organic food.
